Day Three of the 2010 Industry Award Days, and each day the noise levels keeps rising, and rising, and rising. The Telco division, certainly did not disappoint, as they were by far THE LOUDEST CROWD of all the ceremonies which was pleasantly surprising given the fact they were a crowd of nearly 400 delegates!

Saturday 13th March - to say the Telco division were ready for a momentous day was an understatement. There were flags, horns, clackers, cheers, singing, and the all important conga around the room, and that was before the Industry Awards even commenced!

"I got a feeling, that tonight gonna be a good night..." was the Black Eyed Peas song bellowing from the speakers around the room. The only thing was, Telco's night started now! Spurred on with excitement were the hosts for the day, Product Owners Sid Jain and Nicci Flynn dubbed ‘Ant and Dec'.

Introduced onto the stage were our resident VIPs and Head Speakers; Chairman & Founder of The Cobra Group Mr Chris Niarchos, Managing Director of the Cobra Group Mr Mike Blane, and Cobra's Vice President's Mr Simon Murphy.

There were some fantastic sales impact stories, growth and expansion speeches, top tips, a very motivational speech by TalkTalk's Fields Sales Events Manager Ms Sharon Burwood (pictured RIGHT) who INDUSTRY AWARDS DAY - Telco congratulated all delegates for their hard work. Further to that a new WEEKLY SALES RECORD was announced, and what everyone wanted to hear and see - Awards and Medals given out.
Like the previous Industry Award Days (Pay TV and Energy), recipients for Crew Leaders, Sales Achievement and Sales Excellence were delighted to receive OWNERS STROKE for the week!

The final award of the day ‘OWNER OF THE YEAR' was presented by Chris Niarchos. The signature drum roll built up, and the name about to be announced. The 2010 Industry Awards Day winner for the Telco Division went to................................................................ Owner of Oratory Commerce Ltd - Mr Alex Pinker.

Alex received the biggest cheer of the day, with his MC chanting and jumping with delight! Humbly, Alex accepted his award and gave a sterling speech on how to survive in the business and what his targets are for 2010.
The Telco division certainly have been the most hyped crowd to date, and it was brilliant. Delegates circled the room congratulating one another, giving advice, and picking up their exclusive goody bags (which even contained TalkTalk alarm clocks!), which brought the day to a ringing end...
