For the First Time, the Annual General Shareholders Meeting of Sberbank of
Russia will be broadcasted via Internet
Moscow, June 3, 2011 - The annual general shareholders meeting of Sberbank
of Russia will open today at 10.00 Moscow time. For the first time, the
annual general shareholders meeting of Sberbank will be broadcasted via
Internet. The broadcasting can be watched on the website of RIA Novosti
News Agency (www.rian.ru) and on Sberbank's website (www.sberbank.ru).
'The very fact that any Internet user can watch the annual general
shareholders meeting of Sberbank online, once again confirms that Sberbank
is the most transparent company of Russia', said Herman Gref, the Chief
Executive Officer and the Chairman of Sberbank.
The following issues are on the agenda of the meeting: the approval of
annual report, profit allocation, and dividend payment for 2010; elections
of president, chairman and members of the supervisory board, and other
issues. For the first time, Sberbank will submit the report of corporate
social responsibility at the meeting.
