Leading IT analyst names German mobile BI specialist, Reboard, "Cool Vendor 2012" in SAP Ecosystem
Reboard found to be innovative, impactful and intriguing.
Rapid reporting for decision makers - Reboard’s attractive design and intuitive user interface clear(firmenpresse) - Stuttgart, 26 April 2012. Mobile BI and reporting specialist, Reboard, has been named a Gartner “Cool Vendor” in the SAP Ecosystem. In this year's edition, the world's leading information technology analyst examined outstanding IT providers in the SAP environment. Gartner defines a Cool Vendor as a company that offers technologies or solutions that are innovative, impactful and intriguing – a total of five companies in the SAP environment were found to be particularly innovative in the last six months.
This year's Cool Vendors provide innovative solutions that address recurring SAP customer challenges. According to the report, “There is a vast array of impressive independent software vendors (ISVs) and service provider partners in the SAP ecosystem. This research focuses on lesser-known ISVs and their software solutions. Cool Vendors are vendors that have caught Gartner's interest over the past year because they offer innovative and intriguing technologies or solutions.” Being a mobile solution to completely map SAP BW hierarchies and variables, Gartner has recognised Reboard for its innovative, impactful and intriguing solutions.
“We believe being named a ‘Cool Vendor’ provides evidence that our application design, intuitive user interface and fast reporting for decision makers using SAP BW has met the demands of the corporate world”, comments Kai Wachter, Reboard CEO. Apart from SAP, Reboard is the only German supplier of a cross-platform mobile BI solution. Reboard quickly provides an overview of key data and corporate information to ‘on the go’ decision makers and sales staff. BI reports can be accessed and used via mobile devices, such as tablet PCs and smartphones. What’s more, the application is quick and easy to install for customers - in most cases Reboard can be up and running within just a few hours.
Through Reboard’s open BI server, Reboard is able to access a variety of data sources and BI systems including: SAP BO, Oracle SQL, Excel, Google Analytics, to name a few.
