Schöneck, 23. February 2012 - Valora Retail, a division of the Swiss Valora
Group, has decided to use the SAP Point-of-Sale by GK software solution in
its stores in Switzerland, German and Luxembourg in future. This means that
it has been possible to gain the first customer outside Germany within the
framework of the reseller agreement between SAP and GK SOFTWARE AG. SAP
sells three SAP-branded solutions made by GK SOFTWARE AG in the EMEA
region. In its domestic market Switzerland Valora operates approx. 1,200
stores. After the take-over of Convenience Concept, a subsidiary of
Lekkerland, in January 2012 (subject to approval by the Bundeskartellamt)
Valora operates in Germany 1,500 branches.
The Management Board at GK SOFTWARE AG believes that the gaining of this
project provides confirmation of its expectations within the framework of
the partnership with SAP. However, it does not expect any significant
effects on sales and results in fiscal 2012 as a result.

in approx. 25,000 stores in Germany and abroad. The company has grown
rapidly during the past few years and its sales revenues totaled EUR 27.7
million in 2010. GK SOFTWARE AG achieved EBIT of EUR 6.4 million (EBIT
margin of 21.7% on total operating revenue). The two founders Rainer Gläß(CEO) und Stephan Kronmüller (deputy board member), in conjunction with an
experienced management team, have made GK SOFTWARE AG a profitable company
with strong growth since 1990.
