OTI Greentech AG has entered into a distribution agreement with Brenntag
GmbH, the German subsidiary of chemical distribution global market leader
Brenntag AG. Brenntag GmbH is to sell OTI Greentech's innovative products
for cleaning oil impurities in Germany. The move enables OTI Greentech to
enter a further key market.
Zug (Switzerland), 27. February 2012 - The core points of the distribution
agreement between OTI Greentech AG and Brenntag GmbH relate to the terms
and conditions of the production and sale of all OTI Greentech's liquid
ECOSOLUT products. The extension of sales activities to other countries is
under construction.
OTI Greentech has a patented portfolio of eco-friendly and highly efficient
purification and separation products for removing oil contamination. These
so called 'green chemicals' can be used for the removal as well as the
recovery of oil residues.
Brenntag GmbH has been blending and formulating OTI Greentech AG's liquid
products on the company's behalf since 2007; the inclusion of the new,
innovative OTI products in Brenntag's extensive distribution network marks
a new form of partnership for the companies.
Sales partners across the globe
'We are very pleased indeed to have entered into this distribution contract
with Brenntag GmbH. It not only enables us to expand our long-term business
relationship with Brenntag, but has also given us an experienced,
dependable partner which will commit its professional expertise to the sale
of our innovative products in Germany', comments Stephan Rind, Executive
Chairman of the Board of Directors at OTI Greentech AG.
The sales activities conducted by Brenntag GmbH in Germany will focus on
the refinery sector, the shipping industry, tank cleaning services, power
plant operators and industrial cleaning companies. The recent recognition
and certification as a Cleantech Driver in the waste management segment
awarded to OTI Greentech by the German Clean Tech Institute (DCTI) promises
to boost the company's marketing success.
The distribution agreement for Germany is the latest in a series of similar
agreements OTI Greentech has entered into in recent months; 2011 saw the
young clean tech company from the Swiss town of Zug contractually securing
distribution of its products by first class partners in the US, the Middle
East and south-eastern Europe.
