iQ Power announces preliminary discussions for a possible business
combination or asset purchase and sale
Zug/Switzerland, 29 February 2012 - iQ Power AG (ISIN: CH0020609688, WKN:
A0DQVL, Symbol: IQPB), the developer and marketer of eco-friendly and
technologically advanced starter batteries for motor vehicles, announces
preliminary discussions with a third party entity for a possible business
combination or asset purchase and sale. Depending on the ultimate structure
agreed to, of which there can be no guarantee, an equity investment in iQ
Power may or may not be a part of the transaction.
iQ Power has been seeking financial or strategic partners which could
bolster the financial stability of the operations of the company.
The discussions are in a preliminary stage and, depending on the ultimate
structure, may require a vote of iQ Power shareholders.
To the extent the terms of a transaction are agreed to, of which there can
be no guarantee, iQ Power will publicly provide additional information.
