HELMA Eigenheimbau AG reports record results for FY 2011 and announces
two-year planning
Lehrte, March 6, 2012 - HELMA Eigenheimbau AG, the specialist for
individual solid construction homes and sustainable energy concepts,
reports a further set of record results for its 2011 financial year,
according to preliminary IFRS consolidated figures. Revenue was up by 39 %,
from EUR 74.5 million to EUR 103.6 million in 2011. This revenue included
significant growth at the property development subsidiary HELMA Wohnungsbau
GmbH, amounting to EUR 28.0 million, as budgeted (FY 2010: EUR 15.6
million).
Earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) rose from EUR 2.7 million to EUR
4.8 million in 2011, which was particularly attributable to the marked
revenue growth and related economies of scale, as well as a higher
proportion of revenue contributed by the high-margin property development
business. The EBIT margin on revenue was up from 3.7 % to 4.6 % as a
consequence. With earnings before tax (EBT) of EUR 3.4 million (FY 2010:
EUR 1.9 million) and EUR 2.3 million of net income (FY 2010: EUR 1.3
million), the HELMA Group has reported a further significant improvement in
its profitability in the 2011 financial year.
On the basis of a solid order book position and positive business
prospects, particularly in the property development business, the
Management Board anticipates that in 2012 and 2013 it will successfully
continue the growth trend that it has established over recent years. The
HELMA Group expects revenue of EUR 115 million to EUR 125 million for the
2012 financial year, and EBIT in a range between EUR 6.5 million and EUR
7.5 million. As far as the 2013 financial year is concerned, the company
anticipates further revenue growth to approximately EUR 140 million,
accompanied by a further tangible earnings improvement.
The 2011 annual report including final consolidated figures and a detailed
explanation of the two-year budget will be published on April 24, 2012.
