IMMOFINANZ AG becomes one of the newest members of the FTSE
EPRA/NAREIT Emerging Europe Index

Speculation over this step was first heard last year: In its quarterly
meeting on 8 March, the committee of the European Public Real Estate
Association (EPRA) has now approved the inclusion of IMMOFINANZ AG in the
FTSE EPRA/NAREIT Emerging Europe Index. This step will serve as a further
impulse for the property company's share - only three days ago it was added
to the ATX five.
Yesterday evening, the EPRA index committee announced that IMMOFINANZ AG
had met the criteria for inclusion in the FTSE EPRA/NAREIT Emerging Europe
Index. The decisive factor is that a major component of EBITDA must be
generated in the so-called 'emerging markets'. This step represents the
latest milestone in the impressive development of the IMMOFINANZ share: It
was added to the leading index of the Vienna Stock Exchange in March 2011
and, with 100% free float market capitalisation, will now join the EPRA's
Emerging Index. The approval takes effect on 19 March, and the weighting
can therefore only be announced at that time. It is calculated by dividing
the free float market capitalisation of IMMOFINANZ AG by the free float
market capitalisation of all other index-relevant companies.
'Last year our share joined the ATX and this week inclusion in the ATX five
- yesterday's expected announcement by the EPRA committee represents a
further important step in the development of the IMMOFINANZ share',
commented Eduard Zehetner, Chairman of the Executive Board of IMMOFINANZ
AG. 'This step will give the IMMOFINANZ share not only greater
international visibility, but also higher liquidity. Additionally,
inclusion in the EPRA Emerging Index underscores our role as a key player
in Eastern Europe.'
The European Public Real Estate Association (EPRA) represents the interests
of the major European real estate companies in the public sphere and
supports the development and market presence of European real estate
corporations. The committee meetings are held quarterly at the beginning of
March, June, September and December. Together with the National Association
of Real Estate Investment Trusts (NAREIT) and the FTSE (a joint venture
between the Financial Times and the London Stock Exchange), the EPRA
develops the guidelines for a well-known group of indexes. These indexes
serve as a benchmark for listed real estate companies throughout the world.
