Frankfurt am Main, 13 March 2012. Joyou AG, a leading branded bathroom
solution supplier in China, has been awarded the iF Product Design Award
2012 for its new shower kit.
Established in 1953, the iF Product Design Award is today among the most
important awards for innovative product design. Joyou's flat-panel shower
and water-heater unit from the X-Time Joyou series has already been
honoured with the 'red dot' award. 'These successes are proof of our
excellent product design impresses on an international level. We are happy
receiving such a great feedback and proud of our designers and developers,'
states Jianshe Cai, CEO of Joyou AG.
The product design of the X-Time shower and water-heater unit was inspired
by the shape of slender mobile phones. The showerhead is hooked into
position in a manner that calls to mind the handset of an old-fashioned
telephone.
The company has a total of 60 in-house Design and Research staff, and has
substantially increased its research and design budget in 2011.

Sanitary Hardware, Copper and Semi-Finished Components, Grohe Business. In
2010, Joyou realised group revenues of EUR 246.6 million, an operating
profit (EBIT) of EUR 43.7 million and a net profit of EUR 33.2 million.
