Pullach - The supervisory board of cash.life AG and its CEO
Frank Alexander de Boer have agreed on an early contract renewal. De Boer
was reappointed as cash.life's CEO until 2014.
At the beginning of 2008 Mr. de Boer took over the position as CEO of
cash.life and led the pioneer of the German Secondary Life insurance market
through the most turbulent phase in company history. After a record loss of
nearly 20 million euro in 2008 and a takeover by the private equity
investor Augur Capital, cash.life's development stabilized. 2011 cash.life
again paid out a dividend to its shareholders, the first after several
years.
Supported by its major investor, cash.life now focuses on the
diversification of its business model. In 2010 the affiliate max.xs
financial services AG was founded. max.xs is a full service sales
organization that acts as outsourcing partner for providers of financial
products. 'The development of max.xs with its innovative business
model has picked up speed and demands close management attention' says de
Boer, who will also remain CEO of the company situated in Frankfurt/Main,
Germany.
With de Boers reappointment the supervisory board guarantees continuity at
Board level. Second member of the executive board is Franz Schmidpeter who
is responsible for the secondary life insurance business.
