Alu-TV® and Alu-Scout® at wire & Tube 2010

(firmenpresse) - Düsseldorf. From 12–16 April 2010 in Düsseldorf the two specialist trade fairs wire & Tube will again be showcasing innovative technologies in the wire, cable and tube fabrication sectors. The wire and tube industry is meeting up for the 12th time in the exhibition centre on the Rhine to forge international contacts, discover new processes and applications and make business deals.
As partners of Messe Düsseldorf, Alu-TV® and Alu-Scout® will be live at the show presenting all the latest news, trends and facts on Alu-TV.com.
Approximately 35,000 visitors and around 1,000 exhibitors are expected at Tube 2010. The latest processes and applications in the production, fabrication and processing of tubes will be showcased on a floor area of 40,000 m2. The offer ranges from raw materials, tubes and accessories, tube manufacturing machines and second-hand machinery through to process engineering tools and accessories and I&C technology.
The focus of the show is on tubes and profiles made from various materials ranging from plastic to aluminium, which means that well-known companies from the aluminium sector will also be present at Tube, including Alcan Decin Extrusions s.r.o., Hydro Aluminium Precision Tubing Tonder a.s. and Inox Laghi s.r.l.
Testing systems and special themes, e.g. warehouse automation and control and monitoring systems, round out the comprehensive spectrum.
For the second time since their successful premiere in 2008, the Pipelines and OCTG Technology sectors will be presented at Tube.
A highlight of this year's show is the premiere of a special show devoted entirely to the subject of profiles and profile technology. Machinery and systems for manufacturing profiles and their end products will be displayed in a variety of materials and shapes.
More than 1100 exhibitors at the wire show will be presenting their offer in parallel to Tube, also at the Düsseldorf exhibition centre on a floor area of approx. 51,000 m². On display here will be machinery and equipment for wire manufacture and finishing, auxiliary process engineering materials as well as other materials and special wires. The overall product spectrum at this international trade fair for wire and cable includes innovations in instrumentation, control and testing technology as well as the latest developments from the specialist areas of conveyor systems, packaging and logistics.
The Alu-TV® teams will conduct interviews with renowned industry experts and showcasing the trends, innovations, atmosphere and highlights of the show in a trade fair trailer and report, which will be available on www.alu-tv.com.
