Vancouver, BC. April 10, 2012 – Dorex Minerals Inc., TSX-V. “DOX” (The "Company" or “Dorex”) announces that it has successfully completed the Phase I field exploration and geochemical rock-sampling program on its Tres Hermanos Mine Property, located in northwestern Mexico.
The Tres Hermanos Mine property lies within the Batopilas mineral district, in the prolific Sierra Madre Precious Metals Belt in the southwest corner of Chihuahua State, Mexico, approximately 180 kilometers southwest of Chihuahua, the capital city of the State of Chihuahua. This mineral belt is internationally known for significant gold, silver and copper production. The Tres Hermanos Mine Property is comprised of eight contiguous exploration concessions comprising an area of 328 hectares.
Historically documented gold assays from the mine workings are limited; however, the reported yield from the upper workings was 47.9 grams per tonne gold (“g/t”) and the lower workings 16.5 g/t gold. Documented assays from Levels 2 to 6 of the eight Levels in 1980 returned from 0.9 g/t gold to 190 g/t gold {6.1 ounces gold} including an assay of 29.2 g/t from Level 6. Gold-copper assays from surface samples of the vein system on the Property collected by Dorex personnel returned elevated gold values from trace up to 5.75 g/t and from trqace to 0.74% copper.
From the initial discovery of gold on the property in 1903, an undocumented report of 22,500 ounces of gold was extracted from 1914 to 1916 which was followed by processing of the ores in the mill of 30 tons per day capacity and the recovery of documented 275 kilograms of gold.

During the Phase I exploration program, a total of 438 samples were collected (including QA/QC sample insertions) and analyzed for 30 elements via ICP as well as gold by Fire Assay. All samples were sent for chemical assay to ISO certified Inspectorate Laboratory's Durango, Mexico preparation facility and subsequently to Inspectorate's Vancouver analytical laboratory. The purpose of the Phase I exploration program was to generally orient the Company with the Project, to identify the primary mineralization model and to generate future exploration targets, including drill testing. Results of the Phase I program will be announced as soon as the Company receives the final exploration report.
In March 2012, the Tres Hermanos Mine property was featured as the top exploration mining prospect at the Government of Mexico booth collateral materials at PDAC in Toronto in The Portfolio of Mining Projects of the General Direction of Mining Promotion of Mexico (www.economia.gob.mx)
This news release was reviewed and approved by Paul D. Gray, P. Geo., a qualified person for the Tres Hermanos Mine project.
