HELMA Eigenheimbau AG reports new order intake growth in Q1 2012
Lehrte, April 13, 2012 - HELMA Eigenheimbau AG, the specialist for
individual solid construction homes and sustainable energy concepts,
reports on a successful start to its 2012 financial year. The very good
sales result that the company achieved in the first quarter of the previous
year was exceeded by a further five percent in the first three months of
the current financial year.
Group net order intake (houses and land) amounted to EUR 30.5 million (Q1
2011: EUR 29.0 million), representing a good starting point for the new
order intake growth that the company is targeting in its 2012 financial
year. The Group expects sales to be up by a double-digit percentage rate on
a full-year view, which would equal an increase in net new order intake
from EUR 106.8 million to at least EUR 117.5 million.
'For the first time, these sales figures also include two of our
energy-independent houses,' as Karl-Heinz Maerzke, CEO of HELMA
Eigenheimbau AG, reports with satisfaction. 'We are very pleased that we
will now be building two examples of our innovative concept for our
customers, which we presented to the public as a showhouse in Lehrte in May
2011, and which won the German Solar Prize badge. Consequently, the first
two families in Germany will be fully independent of external energy
providers in the future, both in terms of heating and electricity, thanks
to a HELMA solid-construction home, and without entailing any compromises
with regard to home comforts,' Maerzke went on to comment.

The sales figures for the first three months of the 2012 financial year
presented above already include all cancellations received until the day
preceding the publication of this announcement. The previous year's figures
are based on the same reporting date in order to allow optimal
comparability.
