Autumn/Winter Collection, 'POWERLAND*LOVE PASSION for ORCHID'. More than
200 celebrities and journalists from the fashion media, as well as leading
retailers and franchisees attended the fashion show at the Marriot in
Beijing.
Themed on 'ORCHID', the fashion show delivered a stunning visual feast by
bringing into alignment Chinese and Italian aesthetic concepts and
perfectly combining classic Italian handbag design and Chinese stylistic
elements.
Orchid is one of the four flowers most appreciated in Chinese culture,
which stands for both elegance and independent, and is admired by graceful
ladies. In Chinese, the brand name of Powerland means 'maintain the spirit
of orchid'. Character of orchid is fine matched with the brand image of
POWERLAND as low-profile luxury.
The launch shared the deluxe leather and extraordinary craft of POWERLAND.
The huge background screen of the mode show stage kept exploring how a
classic piece is made - from drawing on the paper to choosing the material
for sewing manually, and presenting the rotating pictures of the new
collection in shining, sham and style. The manufacturing process of
POWERLAND is not only a creation of art, but also a devoted ceremony. Every
step is taken with the respect for European traditional craftsmanship and
the heritage of luxury leather goods culture.
Michele Lee, brand ambassador of Powerland and Francesco Turchi,
POWERLAND's Designer-in-Chief shared their understanding on leather fashion
trend of 2012, and discussed how modern office ladies could balance their
life and work to enjoy a wonderful life.
Turchi, who has also made great contributions to top international fashion
brands, explained his design philosophy: 'focused on value creation for
people with class and taste, the combination of the classic design and
innovation brings the new legendary piece of work.'
