The annual general meeting will be held in the auditorium at Grev Wedels plass
5 in Oslo, Norway on Wednesday 9th May 2012 at 13.00 hrs.

Please find enclosed notice of Cermaq ASA's annual general meeting, including
appendices.

A printed version (hardback) of the notice will be sent by post by 18th April
2012 to all shareholders. Please note that the printed Annual Report 2011 will
be sent upon request only.

The annual report and accounts for 2011 were published through a stock exchange
release on 18th April 2012 and are available on Cermaq's web site.
