The Main Board of Directors of SpareBank 1 Nord-Norge appointed Jan-Frode Janson as the new CEO on 3 May 2012. Janson comes from the position of Deputy CEO of Fokus Bank.

Jan-Frode Janson was born in 1969. He is a graduate in business management from
the Bodø Graduate School of Business and has a doctorate in Industrial Economics
and Technology Management from the Norwegian University of Science and
Technology. Janson has widespread banking experience and a thorough knowledge of
the challenges of the finance sector. He has been a member of Fokus Bank's group
management since 2001, for the last seven years as Deputy CEO. His previous
positions include general manager of ABB Installasjon Midt-Norge, marketing and
production manager of Nidar AS and senior consultant/research scientist at the
Norwegian University of Science and Technology/Sintef.

Jan-Frode Janson will take up the position of CEO of SpareBank 1 Nord-Norge on
1 January 2013.
