Media Advisory: The Royal Canadian Navy Commemorates the Battle of the Atlantic
(firmenpresse) - OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 05/04/12 -- Media are invited to attend the national commemorative parade and ceremony for the Battle of the Atlantic at the National War Memorial in Ottawa, on Sunday May 6, 2012.
WHEN: May 6, 2012, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
WHERE: National War Memorial, located at the corner of Wellington and Elgin Street in Ottawa.
The Royal Canadian Navy and members of the Royal Canadian Air Forces, alongside members of the Merchant Navy, Central Region Sea and Air Cadets, Navy League Cadets, the Royal Canadian Legion Colour Party, local veteran organizations, other government departments, the diplomatic community and the Ottawa Children's Choir will participate in the commemoration.
