extended their agreement until 2021

Borussia Dortmund GmbH&Co. KGaA and stadium naming right sponsor SIGNAL
IDUNA Group, Dortmund/Hamburg, have prematurely extended their agreement
that was due to expire on June 30th, 2016 now until June 30th, 2021. Thus,
the name of Germany's biggest football stadium remains at minimun until 2021
'SIGNAL IDUNA PARK'.
'Borussia Dortmund is very pelased that the cooperation which already
started in 2005 continues', CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke said. 'Reinhold Schulte,
SIGNAL IDUNA's chairman, was the first one who confessed to Borussia
Dortmund in its rather difficult times in the past', Watzke further said on
today's press conference at SIGNAL IDUNA PARK. The extension of our
agreement is a trustful statement for our cooperation.
'Borussia Dortmund has made an impressing turnaround. SIGNAL IDUNA would
like to support Borussia Dortmund on the path it develops further on and for
the long term. We are looking forward to the next thrilling 'football
decade' of SIGNAL IDUNA PARK', Reinhold Schulte, SIGNAL IDUNA's chairman,
said.
With today's extention of the the naming right agreement Borussia Dortmund
has reached a sustainable and longterm cooperation with all of its most
important sponsors. Earlier before in this fiscal year Borussia Dortmund
already announced a prolongation with its main jersey sponsor Evonik
Industries AG, Essen (until June 30th, 2016) and a cooperation with its new
kit supplier PUMA SE, Herzogenaurauch (from July 1st, 2012 until June 30th,
2020).
