Drilling to commence in early July 2012
CALGARY, Alberta Canada/May 10 2012 -- Prairie West Oil and Gas is today pleased to provide an update to the company's much anticipated Twinning Project. As of today all the highly detailed geological and geophysical data that the company has assembled is now fully analyzed and a drill location has been finalized. Due to the sheer amount of work put into the selection process Prairie West is highly confident that the location selected will provided the company with the best chance of enhanced success .
Prairie West has secured the necessary permissions and drilling is scheduled to commence in early July 2012.
Vice President Anthony Sarvucci: "The fact that company's long term developmental project is so close to realization has the entire team at Prairie West is energized and excited about the company's prospects moving forward. To put into context the scope and the game changing possibility that Twinning has in regards to the company's future I would like to point out that approximately 18 months ago TAQA North drilled a 400 barrel a day well in the property directly adjacent to Prairie West's Twinning Project.
Prairie West has exercised prudence and discipline in getting to this point with the belief that through a commitment to extensive due diligence the company could substantially lower the overall risk associated with a new drilling program. Prairie West believes it has accomplished this objective and the company is now ready to begin drilling in early July 2012. "
Prairie West is currently in the process of finalizing a relationship with a highly reputable drilling partner and will announce its selection via news release in the near future.
