ROK Global PLC, the technology, applications and services company, has
today announced the appointment of New York-based Saxon Security, to market
its ROK Homeland Security (RHS) service in the United States.
Saxon Security is a security consulting company specialising in tactical
tools that help protect and defend law enforcement professionals and the
public.
The two companies met at the recent '2012 HOMELAND SECURITY MOBILE TRAUMA
UNIT ANTI-TERRORISM SYMPOSIUM' held in New York where ROK showcased its
full range of safety, security and industrial technology products at the
two day, invitation only, event which was attended by more than 500
carefully selected senior level law enforcement officers, high profile
business leaders and military personnel.
Commenting, Jonathan Kendrick, Chairman of ROK said 'Saxon Security is a
very well connected, proven and successful company in the delivery of
various products and services into law enforcement agencies across the
United States and, as such, we are very pleased to be working with them on
the deployment of RHS into their customers.'
ROK Homeland Security is a mobile phone-based service, developed by ROK,
which provides real-time, secure technologies to assist law enforcement
officers in the gathering and management of information in a variety of
formats including encrypted evidence-gathering, encrypted data-based
communications and improved location awareness capabilities.
RHS has been specifically designed for use in counter-terrorism operations,
criminal investigations, counter-narcotic operations, physical security,
evidence gathering and field communications.
