EVS Broadcast: shareholders approve EUR 2.36 total dividend and appoint Mrs Françoise Chombar as Director

EVS Broadcast Equipment S.A., the leader in professional digital video
applications for live TV production today held its Ordinary General Meeting of
Shareholders.
Ninety-four shareholders representing 3,187,700 shares, or 23.4% of the company
shares, attended physically or by proxy the shareholders meeting at EVS Head
Office. All Board propositions have been approved and in particular the
following points:
100% of the represented shareholders approved a total gross dividend of EUR 2.36
for fiscal year 2011, which implies the payment of a final gross dividend of EUR
1.20 (EUR 0.90 after payment of withholding tax of 25%, ex-date May 22, 2012,
and payment date May 25, 2012).
The shareholders also approved the remuneration report for fiscal year 2011,
acknowledged the resignation of Mr. Jean-Pierre Pironnet. They finally approved
the renewal of the mandate of Yves Trouveroy, independent Director, for a period
of 3 years, and the appointment as independent Director of Mrs. Françoise
Chombar for a mandate of 3 years:
* Mrs. Francoise Chombar (49) has served as Chief Executive Officer and
Managing Director of Melexis NV since February 15, 2011. Previously, she was
appointed as co-Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer from 2004
onwards and as Chief Operating Officer since 1994. From 1989 she served as
Operations Manager and Director at several companies within the Elex n.v.
and Xtrion n.v. private holding companies. Prior to that date, she served as
Planning Manager at Elmos GmbH, a German semiconductor company, from 1986 to
1989 and as Commercial Assistant at Michel Vande Wiele n.v., a Belgian
textile equipment manufacturer, from 1984 till 1985. She holds a master's
degree as Interpreter in Dutch, English and Spanish from the University of
Gent. She's been mentor of the Women's network Sofia
(www.vrouwenmanagement.be) since 2000, a member of Women on Board
(www.womenonboard.be) since 2011 and honorary ambassador of the Department
of Applied Languages of the University of Gent since January 2012.
