- Dividend payment of EUR 0.25 per ordinary share
(Grambach, 16.05.2012) The dividend payment of EUR 0.25 per ordinary share
proposed by the Management Board was approved by the Annual Shareholders'
Meeting held by BDI - BioEnergy International AG this year. The payment is
to be made on 25.05.2012 (with 23.05.2012 as the ex-dividend date).
'Our strong financial position plays an important role in the implementation
of our strategy and possible acquisitions. We are delighted that we
generated an operating profit in the past fiscal year in spite of the
difficult environment in the biodiesel sector and can pay a dividend to our
shareholders this year too', says Dagmar Heiden-Gasteiner, CFO of BDI -
BioEnergy International AG.
The Management Board of BDI explained the company's new strategy at the
Annual Shareholders' Meeting. It is BDI's vision to set standards in the
recycling and upgrading of residual and waste materials as well as in the
creation of sustainable new resources, in order to maximise economic
viability, innovative skills and cutting-edge technology. Steps are
therefore to be taken to continue the gradual development of BDI's
portfolio, the aim of which is to transform the company from being a
specialised plant manufacturer for the biodiesel and biogas industry to
being a comprehensive supplier of industrial green tech solutions.
About 86.49 per cent of the share capital was represented at BDI's Annual
Shareholders' Meeting this year. The Annual Shareholders' Meeting approved
all the points on the agenda with majorities.
The results of the votes taken at the Annual Shareholders' Meeting have been
published in the 'Investor Relations' section of the website
