March 25, 2010 -- Vancouver, B.C. and Lima, Peru -- Panoro Minerals Ltd. (TSXV: PML, Lima: PML, Frankfurt: PZM) (“the Company”) is pleased to announce that Mr. Richard A. Mundie has been appointed a Director of the Company. Mr. Mundie has held senior positions in the mining sector for over 25 years, both in British Columbia and overseas. He is currently on the Board of Directors of Taseko Mines Limited, owners of the Gibraltar copper-molybdenum mine in south-central British Columbia.

Mr. Mundie’s diverse and impressive background includes working for TeckCominco in a number of positions including, Vice President, Asia Affairs and Chief Representative in China working with the international mining community to build stronger relationships with the Chinese Government, Vice President responsible for marketing the company’s commercial mineral products in Europe, South America, United States, Japan, Korea and Taiwan and Assistant to the President of Teck Corporation responsible for corporate development. He has held a number of financial and leadership positions with Cominco including the role of Director of Business Development responsible for mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. Mr. Mundie has experience marketing copper concentrates, for Highland Valley Copper and the Antamina Mine in Peru, and was responsible for acquisitions and divestitures such as the Cajamarquilla Zinc Refinery in Peru and Cominco Engineering.
