BOSTON & AMSTERDAM 24 August 2010 -- ink Communications, the virtual high tech PR boutique agency, today announced that Vanessa Vigar has joined the agency as partner to head up the new, global marketing practice. She is based in The Netherlands. In addition, ink also has added Jessica Ludewig, social media manager, as part of ink’s global social media practice.

A recognized technology, media and telecommunications (TMT) marketing and communications expert, Vanessa is responsible for helping companies prepare for market entry, international expansion, launch new products and create strategic product and marketing strategies Prior to joining ink, Vanessa developed a hugely successful consulting business, distributing her time across a substantial portfolio of emerging and disruptive technology companies including GyPSii, Netgem, Service2Media and Rubberduck MediaLab.

Pior to setting up her own business, Vanessa previously led European marketing for the broadband ASP Entriq, now a Content Management offering from the MIH /Naspers company Irdeto, and before that served as Vice President, Communications for the Mobile Media Company, a global provider of cross-carrier premium messaging, mobile marketing and SMS to TV formats. Prior to this she lived in Asia for more than ten years serving as a senior marketing executive at international media organizations including ESPN, CNN, TNT, the Cartoon Network from Turner Broadcasting, NBC Universal, and the AXN and Animax channels from Sony Pictures Entertainment.
