PROMATIS presents solutions regarding Oracle Governance, Risk and Compliance

This year, the meeting of the Special Interest Group (SIG) E-Business Suite (EBS) of the DOAG - German Oracle Users Group e.V. will take place on September 27th at the Arcotel Wimberger in Vienna. By working closely with the Oracle Applications User Group (OAUG), the event becomes more international. "Back to Growth - Are your Oracle Applications Ready for Takeoff?" is the central question. Participants can expect interesting user reports and current news directly from the manufacturer at the Oracle Open World 2010 - in a German and an English stream.

Successful were those who possessed highly flexible business processes and elastic cost structures. Critical success factors here were the business applications. With the economic recovery, companies now face the next test. Again, business applications play a central role. They should be able to handle growing business volumes and map new business models in a clean manner while keeping the process costs low. They should also provide the transparency that the company management wishes for in strategically difficult times, and that is called for by new legal regulations.

In his presentation, "Enabling Agile Businesses with Oracle GRC Solutions", Oliver Bauer, Senior Principal Consultant at PROMATIS, introduces corresponding applications, and therefore shows solutions, to meet the new requirements. "When introducing GRC systems, the analysis of the company’s business processes is crucial. Process-oriented tools such as Oracle GRC Enterprise Manager and Horus® support our projects optimally," says Bauer.

Roman Helmer from Oracle Austria GmbH gives an overview of Oracle Fusion Applications in his keynote. The topics of the renowned speakers are multifaceted, ranging from "The Business Value of Virtualization in Oracle E-Business Suite" to "Change Management according to ITIL and practical experience in EBS-projects." As usual in DOAG events, the participants will face up to open and controversial debates. Participants benefit from this unique source of information and networking with colleagues and experts from the Oracle E-Business Suite community.
