Heek, August 17, 2010 - 2G-Bio-Energietechnik AG (2G), one of Germany's
leading manufacturers of combined heat and power (CHP) plants, is currently
reporting a strong inflow of new orders, also from abroad. After having
boosted last year's international revenue from EUR 2.9 million to EUR 6.5
million, compared with total Group revenue of EUR 51.1 million, a further
growth leap is now foreseeable in the company's business abroad.

First order from USA and first shipment to Canada

In December 2009, 2G announced that it was founding sales company CENERGY
Power Systems Technologies Inc. (CENERGY) together with former managers
from Ring Power. Following the successful establishment of CENERGY, 2G's
CEO Christian Grotholt is now pleased to announce the first order from the
USA. He is convinced that the leading German CHP plant technology will
attract major demand in the USA over coming years.

This plant will be located in Washington State. Biogas resources in the
northwest of the USA will be converted into electricity and heat using
highly efficient 2G technology. The biogas-driven CHP has a nominal
electric output of 400 kW. 2G anticipates further new orders over the next
few weeks.

The company had also announced that it had entered into cooperation with
European Power Systems Inc. (EPS Ltd.) in March 2010. EPS Ltd., which sells
CHPs exclusively for 2G in Canada, announced that it had sold its first
plant with a nominal electric output of 370 kW to a Canadian customer in
calendar week 30. A second CHP with 250 kW will be shipped prospectively in

calendar week 35. Further new orders are also anticipated from Canada this
year.

New orders also from Finland, Italy and Spain

2G is also reporting its first order from Finland. Here, too, 2G has placed
a plant from the mid-performance range with 250 kW of nominal electrical
output. In addition, the company is now reaping the benefits from its
commitment to Italy. A framework agreement for the delivery of 12 plants
was concluded a few days ago. The company's 90%-owned subsidiary Iberica
S.L. also reports on a new contract, and successful negotiations concerning
the shipment of five further plans to Spain.

As a result, the 2010 business year is also proceeding according to plans
in terms of developing foreign markets.

Company profile

2G Bio-Energietechnik AG is one of the leading German providers of plants
for the decentralized supply of energy. With the development, production,
installation, and servicing of combined heat and power (CHP) plants, the
company offers comprehensive solutions in the growing market for highly
efficient cogeneration systems, which will benefit greatly from political
support for enhanced climate protection over the coming years.
