SAF-HOLLAND S.A., a leading supplier for the global truck and trailer
industry, has once again improved sales potential in the replacement parts
business: Truck manufacturer IVECO will in the future also distribute
SAF-HOLLAND products through its network. As a result, SAF-HOLLAND's market
position, particularly in North Africa and Italy, will be improved. As an
initial step, original replacement parts, mainly axle systems, will be
marketed. Further SAF-HOLLAND products will follow in succession.
Rudi Ludwig, CEO of SAF-HOLLAND: 'The replacement parts business provides
an important opportunity to leverage growth in sales and improve Group
results. Our customers benefit from a high level of availability of our
products in as many quality workshops as possible, reducing downtimes. We
are confident that we will enter into service cooperations with other
manufacturers in the near future.' To date, the Group has already reached
agreements with VOLVO Trucks, Scania, Daimler, DAF and MAN.
With its Aftermarket Business Unit, SAF-HOLLAND provides manufacturers,
dealers and workshops, as well as fleet operators, with replacement parts
worldwide. The demand is growing in this area along with the constantly
rising demand for axle systems and other components from SAF-HOLLAND.
