Expansion of the Management Board at vwd AG

Frankfurt am Main, January 3, 2011 - The Supervisory Board of vwd
Vereinigte Wirtschaftsdienste AG has appointed Dr. Andreas Dahmen as the
company's Chief Financial Officer effective January 1, 2011. The
appointment of a CFO is designed to relieve the Management Board of some
responsibilities in order to create additional capacities that can be used
to further develop the vwd group.
Dr. Dahmen, who earned a German degree in business administration, is a
finance and controlling expert who has extensive experience in the
financial integration of companies, particularly those in the IT industry.
In his position as CFO of Integrata AG, a major German provider of training
that is based in Stuttgart, he also gained experience with issues involving
rapidly growing companies listed on the stock exchange.
