ROK TV on BlackBerry(R) passes 25,000 UK downloads in 3 months

ROK Global, the technology, applications and services company, has
announced its multi-channel ROK TV service, featuring a selection of news
and entertainment channels, has been downloaded by more than 25,000
UK-based BlackBerry(R) users since its launch just 3 months ago.
Currently offering BBC One, BBC Two, BBC News and ROK Tube, ROK TV is
compatible with 24 BlackBerry(R) handsets and is available to UK viewers
via the O2, T-Mobile and Orange networks.
ROK TV on BlackBerry(R) is free to download and streams content in high
quality over GPRS and 3G as well as over Wi-Fi, free of charge.
'We have been delighted by the rapid uptake of ROK TV by BlackBerry(R)
users in the UK as we created the ROK TV on BlackBerry(R) service in order
to prove to content owners the popularity and the commercial viability of
offering high-quality Mobile TV streamed live and on-demand to handsets. '
