Niestetal, March 24, 2011 - After extensive investigations, the preliminary
proceedings initiated in February 2010 against Pierre-Pascal Urbon, Chief
Financial Officer of SMA Solar Technology AG (SMA/FWB: S92), concerning a
private matter have been closed by the public prosecutor in Kassel.
The Supervisory Board and the Managing Board greatly welcome the end of
these proceedings.
