GRAMMER AG: millions invested at the Haselmühl location
EUR 5 million invested in new machinery
Expansion of core competencies in metal processing
Amberg, June 10, 2011 - Grammer AG, specialist for seating systems and
automotive interiors is expanding its core competencies in metal processing
at the Haselmühl location, Germany. The company is investing more than five
million euros in additional machinery to optimize the value chain and put
an end to the dependence of the Haselmühl site on offroad business. With
the new core competencies, the plant will now serve as an internal supplier
of complex metal components for the entire Grammer Group, in addition to
the production of seating systems for offroad vehicles.
'The investment and strategic reorientation aims at making the plant
competitive by better leveraging the advantages of the location and its
highly qualified staff and to expand our competencies in the area of metal
processing,' says executive board member Manfred Pretscher.
