London, 10th June 2011: ROK Global PLC, the mobile applications and web
technologies company, has today announced ROK TV, its streamed Mobile TV
service available to UK residents on the BlackBerry(R) App World store, has
doubled its download numbers to 60,000 in the last 4 weeks.
Commenting, Jonathan Kendrick, Chairman and CEO of ROK said 'The number of
downloads of ROK TV has doubled from 30,000 to 60,000 in the last 4 weeks
alone and it is currently the most downloaded Mobile TV service on
BlackBerry App World which is a tremendous endorsement of the quality of
both the video streaming and of the content we offer with ROK TV.'
The ROK TV service delivers BBC One, BBC Two, BBC Three, CBBC and ROK Tube
channels and is available to UK residents free of charge on BlackBerry(R)
App World store.
Listed on the Open Market of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, ROK Global was
