PRESS RELEASE

MCG Management Capital Group Berlin acquires 12 MWp solar park in Zerbst
from Q-Cells

Bitterfeld-Wolfen / Berlin, 20 July 2011 - Q-Cells SE, one of the leading
companies in the photovoltaic industry worldwide, has sold the Zerbst II
solar power plant with a total output of 12 megawatt-peak (MWp) to the
Berlin investment group MCG Management Capital Group. The turnkey handover
of the solar electricity installation will take place shortly. Q-Cells has
been building the solar park on the site of a former military air base near
the city of Zerbst in Saxony-Anhalt since mid-May of 2011. Just over six
weeks later, the park was connected to the grid by the responsible energy
supplier E.ON Avacon. As a sub-project of a large solar park, a total of
five subsystems have an overall capacity of around 46 MWp. The Zerbst II
solar installation alone produces over 11 million kWh of solar electricity
per year, supplying around 3,000 households. This also benefits the
environment: the 12 MWp solar installation avoids around 7,000 tons of CO2
emissions detrimental to our climate.

MCG will add the solar park to its own investment portfolio.

As the general contractor, Q-Cells built the solar park and installed
51,696 of its own high-quality crystalline solar modules on an area of 28
hectares. MCG Group has also commissioned Q-Cells for the long-term
technical operation, maintenance and repair of the photovoltaic system. 'We
are pleased that MCG is once again counting on Q-Cells as a reliable
partner,' said Nedim Cen, CEO of Q-Cells SE. 'MCG has already acquired four

major projects with a total output of 32 MWp from us in the last 18 months.
We are looking forward to the continued expansion of our cooperation in the
future.'

With the realisation of the Zerbst II solar park, Q-Cells and MCG are
carrying on their renewable energy partnership. The Zerbst II solar project
follows a number of solar projects that Q-Cells, as a leading system
integrator, has developed and realised on behalf of MCG and successfully
operates today. Q-Cells completed the Ahorn solar park with an overall
output of 11 MWp on behalf of MCG in June 2010.
