Technical Report in Support of Kaunisvaara DFS Is Now Available

October 6, 2010 Northland Resources S.A. (TSX: NAU, OSE: NAUR - "Northland" or
"the Company") is pleased to announce that the technical report in support of
the Definitive Feasibility Study ("DFS") on its Kaunisvaara Iron Concentrate
Project has been filed on SEDAR and is now available to download from the
Company's website.  On September 27, 2010, Northland announced the positive
outcome of the DFS on the Kaunisvaara Project.
