On 8 October 2010, LBBW Asset Management Investmentgesellschaft mbH, Stuttgart,
Germany, ("LBBW") gave notice pursuant to Section 26 Para 1 WpHG that on 7
October 2010 its voting interest in Evotec AG fell short of the threshold of
3% and on that day its shareholding of 3.365.730 shares amounted to 2.912% of
the total Evotec voting rights. Thereof 2.912% (3.365.730 shares) were
attributed to LBBW according to Section 22 Para 1 Sentence 1 No. 6 WpHG.
