Kemira Oyj's Executive Vice President of R&D and Technology Johan Grön will
leave the company and take up the position as the Chief Technology Officer of
the Fluid and Motion Control group at the ITT Corporation in New York, US. ITT
Corporation is a global US based high-technology engineering and manufacturing
company with revenue of approximately USD 11 billion and a staff of around
40,000 people.

Johan Grön will continue his work at Kemira until the successor has been
appointed or latest until February 2011. Johan Grön has worked as the EVP of R&D
and Technology since 2008. Before that he was the Vice President of R&D in
Kemira's Paper segment in 2005-2008.

"I want to thank Johan for the excellent co-operation and his work for
developing Kemira's R&D function. Johan has had a very important role in making
Kemira into one of the leading water chemistry companies and building the Center
of Water Efficiency Excellence together with VTT. On behalf of Kemira I would
