Revolutionary new and proprietary Hebrew to English dictionary
Rosh Ha'ayin, November 08, 2010 Wizcom Technologies Ltd. ("Wizcom") (Prime
Standard: WZM, IL 0010830706) announces today that the Company has released a
new product for Hebrew readers, the Quicktionary TS.
The product contains a revolutionary new and proprietary Hebrew to English
dictionary. Hebrew is a language with a particularly complex grammar where
meaning and spelling are influenced by a great number of factors and the
Quicktionary is the only tool on the market today dealing with this complexity.

Recognizing over twelve million words, the translation algorithms used have been
modified to deal with the peculiarities typical of Hebrew in a way that delivers
the most appropriate translation in the shortest time possible. The dictionary
combines modern Hebrew, slang and Biblical language. Entries are comprised of
simple translations followed by more complex idiomatic expressions, providing
the user with a varied and comprehensive understanding of the translated word
and its uses. A further feature is transliteration of the Hebrew script into
the Roman alphabet, which allows for a greater understanding to non-native
speakers of how the Hebrew words are composed. This feature is therefore of
great added value to those who are looking to master the language.
In addition to the Hebrew to English dictionary, the product contains the
following dictionaries: English to Hebrew, English to Arabic, English to Russian
and English to French. Users are able to practice their understanding of English
words from these dictionaries by utilizing the educational word games provided
on the product.
