KONE to provide escalators and elevators to railway station renewal project in Ghent, Belgium

KONE has been selected to supply 25 heavy-duty escalators to Ghent's main
railway station renewal project in Belgium. The order includes 25 KONE
TransitMaster® 140 escalators and 13 scenic elevators that will be installed at
Gent-Sint-Pieters station. The agreement also includes a 10-year maintenance
contract.
Gent-Sint-Pieters is one of Belgium's busiest transfer stations with 12
platforms and connecting tram and bus stations and underground car park. KONE's
solutions will help travelers smoothly move from one mode of transport to
another within the station complex. The renewal project is expected to be
completed in 2018.

infrastructure project and contribute to the development of the city of Ghent,"
