Waldenburg, 12 April 2011 - As expected, the expert in explosion protection,
R. STAHL, developed well in fiscal 2010 - especially as of the second half.
Growth has especially been generated from the business in system solutions for
electrical explosion protection. Since 2005, R. STAHL focuses on this business
as a second pillar. Within five years, sales with system solutions more than
doubled and today amount to about ? 120 million. Total group sales increased by
10% in 2010 and amount to ? 222.6 million. Compared to the previous year, EBIT
increased by 53% to ? 19.3 million, annual net profit rose by 88% to ? 10.5
million.
R. STAHL pursues a continuous dividend payout policy, aspiring to a payout rate
of about 40 to 45% of the consolidated earnings. That is why Executive and
Supervisory Board will propose the payout of a dividend of ? 0.70 (previous year
? 0.40) per no-par-value share entitled to dividend.
