Norske Skog's accounts for the first quarter of 2011

The announcement of Norske Skog's accounts for the first quarter of 2011 will
take place on Thursday 5 May at 7.30 a.m. CET.
There will be a presentation of the accounts at the Shipping Club in Oslo at
8.30 a.m. A recording of the presentation will be available on Norske Skog's
website www.norskeskog.com shortly afterwards. An international telephone
conference will also be held at 1 p.m. The President and CEO, Sven Ombudstvedt,
and other members of corporate management will participate in both of these
events. More information regarding the presentation and telephone conference
will be available on Norske Skog's website after Easter.
The "silent period" preceding the announcement will start on Tuesday 19 April.
Special items in the income statement will from now on be communicated in
connection with the announcement of the accounts.
