Hamburg, 13 October 2011. TOM TAILOR Holding AG increased sales in the
retail segment (including e-commerce) in the third quarter by 46.3 per cent
compared to the same period last year, despite strong comparative figures
and adverse weather conditions. On a
like-for-like basis, the segment grew by 2.3 per cent and for the 11th
quarter in a row.
The company grew by 48.5 per cent in the retail segment in the first nine
months of 2011. Like-for-like, this corresponds to a 5.4 per cent increase.
Textile trading in Germany ended the first nine months of 2011 with a loss
of 1 per cent (source: TW Testclub 40/2011). TOM TAILOR thus rose above the
average development of the textile market yet again.
By the end of September 2011, TOM TAILOR had 221 retail shops (compared to
158 stores by the end of 2010).Über TOM TAILOR
