Joyou AG: almost 80 new stores in Q3 2011

Frankfurt am Main, 21 October 2011. In the third quarter of 2011, Joyou AG,
a leading bathroom solution provider in China, opened 78 new Joyou branded
stores (Q3 2010: 317 stores). In 2011, the company has already opened 255
stores (9 months 2011: 989), which leads to a network of 3,851 Joyou
branded sales outlets throughout China as of 30 September 2011.
According to the announced strategy, Joyou is concentrating on growth in
small and medium-sized Chinese cities. 87% of the new stores were opened
tier 3 and tier 4 cities. 51 of these new stores are exclusive stores, 22
are authorized stores and 5 are flagship stores.
Joyou is in line with its target to open approx. 300 stores in 2011. Joyou
intends to further increase its number of stores to 4,500 by 2013, and
concentrate on increasing sales per store and expanding or refurbishing
some key existing stores.

and Bathtubs, Bathroom Cabinets, Bathroom Accessories, Other Faucets and
Sanitary Hardware, Copper and Semi-Finished Components, Grohe Business. In
2010, Joyou realised group revenues of EUR 246.6 million, an operating
profit (EBIT) of EUR 43.7 million and a net profit of EUR 33.2 million.
