As of July 9, 2009 Matthias Gebhardt has taken over the management of Dennert Poraver GmbH. He succeeds Guido Runkel who leaves the company after 9 years of successful and dedicated service as a product manager and managing director.
Matthias Gebhardt (34) has been with the Poraver management team since 2005. His previous work focused on leadership and management in the areas of finance, controlling, human resources, order processing and general administration. Hans Veit Dennert continues to serve his company as a consultant and devotes himself mainly to the expansion of global market leadership in matters of expanded glass granulate as well as the expansion of the massive house brand "modern-houses" in other European countries.
Immediately after the invention of the small Poraver-expanded glass spheres (1983) and the further development to market value, a worldwide distribution network and global leadership in the "expanded glass market" was achieved. More than 150,000 m³ Poraver leave the plant in Postbauer-Heng near Nuremberg each year.
With this performance, the new CEO takes on a challenging task with great prospects.
The current strategic focus has also been a top priority for Mr. Gebhardt: consistent further development of expanded glass spheres, developing new product applications, and support for Poraver customers with marketing and product optimization.
