The SyslogAppliance is able to receive log messages from a variety of sources, including Routers, Firewalls and even Windows event logs which can be searched, analyzed, graphed and being reported. SyslogAppliance comes preconfigured with rsyslog and phpLogCon, two top-notch logging applications. All of this running in a slim Debian Linux operating system. The main reason to develop the SyslogAppliance was to simplify the often tricky configuration of logging tools. The SyslogAppliance is ready to run within a few minutes. Only some simple questions at the first startup have to be answered. Further configuration is not necessary. You just have to point your sending devices to the IP of your SyslogAppliance. After that your preconfigured logging system is controlled by a convenient web interface: phpLogCon.
