Hannover, 25 September 2009: Hannover Re was the proud recipient of
two awards yesterday evening in New York: the highly respected
international trade magazine 'Reactions' crowned Hannover Re 'Best
Global Reinsurance Company' at its annual awards ceremony. Hannover
Re was also named 'Best Global Reinsurance Company for Specialty
Lines'. This category encompasses inter alia the aviation and marine
reinsurance segments, in which the company ranks among the market
leaders.
