Issue of Equity
The Directors of Downing Protected VCT III plc are pleased to
announce an allotment on 11 September 2009 of 396,263 C shares of
0.1p each ("C Shares") payable at 99.9p per share and 396,263 A
shares of 0.1p each ("A Shares") payable at 0.1p per share pursuant
to the Offers for Subscription that opened on 25 September 2008.
The Company now has 7,173,376 C Shares in issue. In accordance with
the Prospectus dated 25 September 2008, 3,913,312 of the 7,500,000 A
Shares originally issued to Management ("Management A Shares") have
now been converted to worthless Deferred Shares, such that 10,760,064
A Shares remain in issue.
The Offer for Subscription is now closed.
A summary of holdings in the Company by Management following the
closure of the Offer and the conversion of the A Shares into Deferred
Shares is as follows.
