OKMETIC AGREED ON A SIGNIFICANT TECHNOLOGY SALES CONTRACT FOR YEAR
2010
Okmetic and Norwegian solar wafer company NorSun have agreed on a
contract for year 2010 whereby Okmetic will supply NorSun mono
silicon crystals used for solar cell manufacturing. The sales
contract will amount to nearly 5 million euro. The agreement is an
extension to the three-year technology sales contract between Okmetic
and NorSun that is nearly completed this year. The earlier project
has brought outstanding results for both parties.
The agreement reinforces the estimate that solar cell and panel
markets will grow and technology markets will recover next year as
stated in Okmetic's latest interim report. Due to Okmetic's
achievements in technology sales projects the company is well
positioned for signing new technology contracts.
