invasive hip surgery Prof. Markus Kuster and Dr. Karl Grob could be won as scientific
partners. Prof. Kuster has worked as the head physician of the clinic for orthopaedic
surgery and traumatology of the locomotor system at the hospital St. Gallen since 2005.
Dr. Karl Grob is the medical director in the same clinic and head of orthopaedics and
traumatology at the hospital Rorschach. Over the past two years, the two doctors have
used
schaerer® MIS-System in numerous surgeries. Their experience was reflected in the
constant development of the system. Both conclude: “The extension system of Schaerer
Medical significantly improves the conditions for the surgeon in hip arthroscopy and
prosthetics. At the same time, the system can also be used in the traumatology everyday
life. This flexibility is unique.” The schaerer® MIS-System will be presented at this year’s
Medica.
The newly developed system provides significant advantages over currently available
products for both physicians and patients. Besides medical progress, the new
development of Schaerer Medical offers significant enhancement of efficiency of the

patient’s leg with optimum usability, flexibility and stability. Schaerer’s MIS-System

precision. It is compatible with the known schaerer® operating tables schaerer® axis and
schaerer® arcus.

medical and technical support with maximum protection of the patient.
