The platform is a combination of the words "Ubuntu," meaning "humanity towards others," and "nation," referring to a community of people who share a common language, culture, and moral perspective. UBUNATIONis a community with a vision to build the largest platform for good, empowered by a global community who are united to seek change towards a better world.
Our mission is to mobilize a new generation of humanitarians and activists into acts of kindness, charity and compassion while rewarding them with digital collectibles secured on the blockchain which demonstrates their belonging to, and passion for, causes that they truly believe in. The team behind UBUNATION, brings a wealth of experience in digital, startups, music, and entertainment. The CEO & Founder Heissam Hartmann has over 20 years of experience in Digital & Startups, launched and ran a charity auctions for eBay, and founded "Volojoy" for personalized celebrity video messages.
Jareiq Kabara who is joining as the Creative Director & Brand Strategist, has worked across the music and music-tech industries for over 15 years, consulting and overseeing A&R, Brand Marketing, and Creative Strategy. His clients have included global icons such as Janet Jackson, Adekunle Gold, Dick Clark Productions, Sony Music Entertainment, Virgin Records and Universal Music Group.
Heissam Hartmann says, “I feel that everything I have done in my life so far has led to this company. Since the start of my career, besides building and working with startups, I have been involved in charity, doing good, and giving back. I can now take this knowledge and passion for change and build this new legacy project, UBUNATION."
