State of Illinois Selects Kofax Capture
System Will Create Electronic Case Folders for the Illinois Benefits Information System (IBIS) Project
IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Kofax plc (LSE: KFX), the leading provider of document driven business process automation solutions, today announced it will provide a document capture solution to the State of Illinois. The value of the contract to Kofax is approximately $340,000.
The state will implement Kofax Capture as part of the Illinois Benefits Information System (IBIS) project to create electronic case folders by scanning and extracting data from the approximately five million insurance benefit forms and related documents it receives annually. The resulting images and data will be routed to IBIS? IBM Content Manager repository. The system will reduce costs and manual tasks, and enable state employees to better serve the needs of their constituencies.
